Cold Grill (not preheated):
Separate slices of bacon and drape over 2-3 grate rods; let ends hang down. Keep at least 2" from elements. Each level holds 1 lb.

For thin slices, Grill at 300°F for 20 minutes. For thick slices, Grill at 310°F for 30 minutes. Top rack is done (soft) when bottom level is crispy.

Hot Grill (preheated):Preheat to 320°F and lay bacon flat across grates. Each level holds 3/4 lb.

Thin bacon takes 15 minutes; thick, 20 minutes. Remove bottom level of bacon and cook top for another 5-10 minutes.

  • Increase cook times for crispier bacon, decrease for softer bacon.
